Fibromyalgia: What Does Fibromyalgia Mean?

by Cinda Crawford

71897894#1) I’ve been told I have Fibromyalgia. What does that mean?

It may mean that you legitimately have all the technical specifications for being classed as someone who has the illness, or it may mean that your doctor is unsure of exactly what you have and “fibromyalgia” is the closest diagnosis he can make at this time.

*For a long time doctors lumped many health problems and autoimmune diseases into this one term. FMS or Fibromyalgia wasn’t called the garbage bag diagnosis for nothing!

If you have any doubts that you have FMS:

a) Consult additional medical practitioners, e.g. rheumatologists, internal medical specialists or some of the doctors who specialize in Fibromyalgia.

See this new definition of Fibromyalgia and diagnostic criteria published recently.

b) Check into the resources listed at the bottom of the Symptoms/Diagnosis page -or-

c) Check out alternative ways and methodologies to stop suffering and begin getting well, such as the Sacred Cellular Healing protocol.
